The seminar was successfully held on 28 March, 2018 at Kowloon Bay Training Center of Clothing Industry Training Authority. The seminar attracted around 100 participants from different companies.
It was our honour to invite Hon Mrs Regina Ip Lau Suk Yee, GBS, JP to share “Potential Risk of Corruption for Belt and Road Projects’ Collaborations”. She shared the Corruption Perceptions Index 2017 and Anti-Bribery and Corruption Law in International Business. She also shared some examples of Hong Kong’s Experience in Anti-Corruption.
Different speakers with different professions were invited to share on different aspects, which include Ethical Procurement, Bribery & Corruption Due Diligence in Mergers and Acquisition Transactions, The UK’s Response to Bribery and Corruption, Internal Audit and Sustainable Supply Chain.
Dr Gao from BSI China also share with audiences an international management system standard, ISO 37001. By implementing ISO 37001, it can help mitigating the possible lawsuit penalty through demonstrating an effective compliance program and demonstrating to customers and stakeholders a robust anti-bribery management system.
